Wow, so sorry for the lack of updates. Can't believe it's been almost 6 months since I've posted. Will be very surprised if there are still any readers out there. Where has time gone? Since April, David and I went to Mexico with some friends and we watched my youngest cousin get married. David has been playing tennis 2-3 mornings a week and I've been traveling all over the country for work. David has slowly been working on our 2nd bathroom. The plumbing and electrical have been done and the dry wall has been hung. Dry wall still needs to be mudded and all the tile laid. Then a little paint and some fixtures - and we'll live in our first house to have 2 bathrooms since we've been married. :) David has also been doing a lot of studying for his architecture exams and only has TWO more left till he is able to get his license. Last weekend we went home for Labor Day. We took two of our good friends, Zach and Brittany home with us. They have two 65 lb+ dogs as well, so we had 4 total! It was chaos, but a good chaos. We had a wonderful Southern weekend, even though Tropical Storm Lee rained on us the entire weekend. While we were down there we decided to bring back a patio set that my parents are no longer using. The patio set is a hunter green and not a color that David and I wanted. So, we headed to Home Depot for an easy fix - SPRAY PAINT. I wondered if we would ever be able to agree on a paint color when David asked me, "what about a blue/teal color?" I was not about to look a gift horse in the mouth, so we chose Rust-oleum's Lagoon spray paint. Below are the before/after pictures. We are both quite happy with the results and love the pop of color in the back yard.
