January - started the year off with the new found knowledge that my parents were separating. Finished a 4 month renovation on the kitchenFebruary - David started work with an architecture firm - 20 months after being out of architecture work
April - found out my grandfather had a tractor accident and broke his hip and was lucky to be alive
May - celebrated 4 years with David
June - went to Mexico and celebrated my 27th birthday, went to the wedding of my cousin Katie Ray Mayer
September - brought our SoCal friends to MS for Labor Day
October - I got a promotion at work, David and I went to New York City for the first time and finished off our New York trip with a train ride to CT to celebrate the wedding of our neighbors, Dave and Victoria. Parents' divorce was finalized. David bought a motorcycle to celebrate the completion of his architecture exams and learning experience.
November - 1 year since I started with the traveling position for my work, went camping with our best friends to celebrate David's 29th birthday and our SoCal friends came back to MS for Thanksgiving. Held a baby shower for my new "niece" Grace (see previous post) David found out he passed his last architecture exam
December - Christmas parties, Saints vs Titans game, Framily Christmas, Rockettes with David's family
Well, those are the highlights of our year. At least the ones that I can remember.
Overall we have had a great year and we feel very blessed for everything God has provided us.
